MMy Bailey's wheel has 2" legs so I purchased 2" PVC pipe and three 2" couplers. I figured how much I wanted to raise the wheel by sitting at the wheel in a comfortable position. Then I bent my arms at the elbow in a 90 degree angle then measured the distance between my elbow and the wheel head. This turned out to be 7" so I cut 3 sections of pipe and and installed the pipe and coupling to each leg and replaced the foot cap that came with the wheel. Warning: I don't know the leg sizes for any other brand, this is something you will need to check for yourself to purchase the correct size. Warning: I don't know how safe it would be to go any higher than 7", do so only at your own risk. |
