All you need are two key rings and jewelry wire. Of course you can use any size ring you want and I prefer 1" (25mm) rings. For the wire I find that a 7 stand 0.015" (0.38mm) Stainless Steel works the best. Start off by cutting the wire to any length you like. Then just use a simple double knot to attach the ring to the wire I have more than a few of these around the pottery ranging from 8" (20cm) to 24" (61cm). Guitar string also works well. Especially the light high E string from an eclectic guitar which is .008" thick. The nice thing about the jewelers sting is it's a lot more flexible and not prone to kinking. |
