About Us

I (Ron Rosolen) began potting in 1984 after being a masters apprentice for 10 years. My family & I moved to Wardell and set up Wardell Cottage Pottery. Whilst only being a small studio each piece reflects its character in the simple ways of quality and practicality (thanks gran). Being made of the highest grade clay and fired to its highest temperature to produce pieces of the finest stoneware available.

If you browse through our site you will hopefully get a feel of the body, heart and soul that I share with my creations. Pottery to me is not only an income but a connection with the earth and it's surrounds. This will be reflected in all of my work as you wonder through your journey of discovery of this site.
